Why I’m writing these words, and you are reading them?

To potentially collaborate in the process of your healing and growth? To explore possibilities? To ignite your potential? And to build a life that feels alive, aligned and empowered!

WHAT IS TRUE FOR YOU?

This is the most important question I will ask you… and it’s okay if you don’t know the answer or don’t even know where to begin looking for answers.

Finding the answers is the reason why we are working together.
Remember, you are not alone here. So together, we will turn this question inside and out.

By asking this deeper question and being open to your own deeper
answers, however challenging they may feel or unexpected they may be, you will discover what is true for you.

You will get to know what it feels like to fully occupy the ground you stand on, with an unwavering sense of understanding and truth.

WORKING WITH WOMEN…

I take a family-systems and trauma-informed approach to our work together. You are a culmination of all your life experiences, where you come from, who you love, and what you have learned along the way.

Thus our work together will consider the context of your personal history and family/culture of origin to help you cultivate understanding and compassion for the trauma and challenging experiences of your life.

By exploring your material through the lens of where you come from and what you have experienced in your life, you will learn that it is okay to be you, just as you are, which is the first step in growing the resilience and emotional intelligence you desire.

EACH WOMAN I WORK WITH IS THE WISEST AND MOST POWERFUL AGENT IN HER HEALING AND TRANSFORMATION.

I am not here to tell you how to live or give you all the answers. Because A) I don’t have all the answers, but more importantly B) I don’t need to. You already have everything you need to know within you. I’m here to help you cultivate the kind of presence that is wise, aware, and fully expressed, and to connect with what already lives within you. And this part is really, really important.

I know many of you have been taught not to trust yourself or were disempowered by families, cultures, or systems. But this disempowerment was somebody else’s story, somebody else’s projection.

Our work will create the space for you to connect with what has always been your deeper truth (however out of reach it may have felt)… you are powerful beyond measure, and now is your time to live into an embodied and intimate relationship with life.

SO, WHAT DOES WORKING TOGETHER LOOK LIKE?

Depending on the focus of our work together, our sessions will take on their own unique flavor. That said, this work is a synthesis of mindfulness, somatic counseling (SE), and coaching, woven together to create an approach that builds a present moment foundation for healing past traumas and forging new paths.

Each session is different because you are a new and different YOU each day. So, we must be flexible enough to allow your healing to follow its own organic flow. And I track your stated goals and growth opportunities, so we make progress in all of the desired areas of your life.

This does not mean that the process is static or rigid. We want our work to be as fluid and diverse as you are and support you in getting to know more of who you are, all of what you desire, and all of what is true for you.

WHAT WILL WE DO IN THESE SESSIONS?

Each session is its own organic process, but from session to session, wemight explore any of the following:

• mindfulness or some contemplative practice

• body-based awareness/embodiment practices

• processing/sharing of personal emotional material

• practices to regulate the nervous system and build resilience

• practices to cultivate emotion regulation

• creative practices such as writing or drawing

• touch (only with client consent)

• vocal expression

• strategizing or outlining goals

Healing is possible…NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE EXPERIENCING.

Of the various practices and approaches that we explore, this work provides support for whatever you face in life. If you are ready to address any of the following, you are in the right place:

• health and wellness issues (chronic illness, pain, or injury)

• managing stress, anxiety, depression

• learning to set healthy boundaries

• navigating life transitions, facing uncertainty

• healing trauma (violence, abuse, sexual trauma, accidents, or injuries)

• processing grief and loss

• addiction/dysfunction/codependence recovery

• cultivating general well-being, ease, happiness, and joy

• nervous system regulation/body awareness

• emotion regulation, and ability to be with challenging emotions

• toxic stress and overwhelm

I OFFER SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR SESSIONS…

Weekly sessions

This is important work in which we will explore your material from every angle. It is deep work – not necessarily dark or depressing, or painful – but deep. So, to support that depth and consistency, I meet with clients weekly. Your commitment is to show up consistently, ready to do this work. My commitment is to see you and support you every step of the way

One-on-one daylong immersion sessions

These immersions provide an equally comprehensive but different container than our regular weekly sessions. These sessions are ideal for anyone who wants to go on a deeper dive, with more focus and intention, into any particular area of personal discovery and exploration. A one-on-one daylong immersion will look different for each person and may occur in a different location, including her home, a place in nature, or any other secluded location conducive to deeper work.

Whether we meet weekly or on occasion, our work together will be deep, comprehensive, and transformative!

Daylong immersions may include many restorative elements including (but not limited to):

• intention setting

• talk based exploration of content

• mindfulness and meditation

• movement and body-centered expressive practices

• writing, creative, or expressive practices

• nature connection

• ritual and ceremony
